Sunstone is a plagioclase feldspar, which exhibits a spangled appearance due to reflections from inclusions of red copper, in the form of minute scales. Colours range from peach to orange/red. Sunstone is linked to luck and good fortune. It clears and energises all the chakras. Sunstone is believed maintain and support a happy outook, heighten intuition and allow positivity and confidence in the self. It is also believed to dissipate fear, alleviate stress and increase vitality. To charge sunstone, leave under the light of the sun for a few hours. Flatstones are often used during meditation.
