Bumblebee Jasper is named for its layered golden yellow and black markings - like a bumblebee. Our Small Bumblebee Jasper Towers have strong markings, and contain natural pitting and cracks but are all on a bit of a lean - nothing a small piece of blu tack can't fix - but have been priced accordingly. Bumblebee Jasper is thought to activate willpower, purpose, courage and self confidence, creativity and inspiration.

Bumblebee Jasper is technically not a variety of Jasper at all, but a rare aggregate of Quartz or Chalcedony with a combination of inclusions including Sulfur, Calcium, Aragonite, Pyrite, Orpinite, and Realgar. Because of the presence of Realgar - a compound that is toxic if inhaled or consumed, we recommend taking caution - do not consume or attempt to polish or sand yourself without a mask and proper ventilation. Bumblebee Jasper is believed to activate inner confidence, determination and strength and is linked to the sacral and solar plexus chakra.
