RUBY CORUNDUM
Corundum is a crystalline form of aluminium oxide, typically containing traces of iron, titanium, vanadium and chromium. Naturally a transparent material, Corundum can have different colors depending on the presence of impurities. Ruby Corundum are fuschia red due to the presence of chromium and can occur naturally or can be enhanced and color treated or man made in a lab. Ruby is thought to be the stone of courage and strength, believed to alleviate fear and anxiety.
