Fluorite (also called fluorspar) is the mineral form of calcium fluoride and is notable by its many colour variations, often with rainbow banding. Blue Fluorite is distinguished for its strong vibrant blue colour, occuring alongside the typical green and purples, and it is a fairly rare occurance. Rabbit Hair or Bunny Fur Flourite is an even rarer variety, distinguished by its fine, hair-like inclusions of actinolite or other fibrous minerals, resembling soft bunny fur. Believed to cleanse and stabilise the aura and neutralise negativity and stress, Fluorite is thought to be a potent healing mineral, often used for study for its focussing energy.
