In quartz or silica sand, quartz is almost the sole component - in order to be considered quartz sand, the material must contain at least 95% SiO2 and less than 0.6% iron oxide. Our quartz sand is a fine grade, so perfect for holding, charging and displaying your crystals. Our Pink Quartz Sand is natural quartz sand with a portion of fine dyed pink sand running through it to give it its colour.
