It has a reddish, orangish, and/or brownish color on fresh surfaces, but typically is weathered and coated with a green tarnish of copper carbonate. Copper is thoughts to be a healer of the physical and auric bodies and a potent energy to help with channelling higher frequencies and connection to the higher self.
