Moonstone is a sodium potassium aluminium silicate feldspar that displays a pearly and opalescent finish, called Adularescence. This Moon-like glow is caused by light scattering between the microscopic layers within the feldspar. Moonstone is known for its loving feminine energy. It is believed to connect to the upper chakras, and like the moon, is associated with dreams, intuition and consciousness.
