Our Sphalerite could be characterised as Zinc Ore cubes - a combination material, often found with galena, pyrite, and other sulfides along with calcite, dolomite, and fluorite. Sphalerite is thought to bring peace, calm, harmony and balance. Our cubes are all floating (with a slanted edge) and contain natural pitting and cracks. Sphalerite or Zinc Blende, Black-Jack and Ruby Jack is a Zinc Sulfide mineral that is found in metamorphic, igneous, and sedimentary rocks. Sphalerite commonly occurs within lead-zinc deposits, often as a combination mineral with Galena, Pyrite, Marcasite, Chalcopyrite, Smithsonite, Calcite and Dolomite. Sphalerite is believed to have grounding and protective energies, associated with the root, sacral and solar plexus chakras and is thought to imbue confidence, balance and high frequency attunement.
