Labradorite is a plagioclase feldspar distinguished for its colorful display of Labradorescence or rainbow flash. Its flash of colors can contain steaks of iridescent blue, green, yellow, orange, red, and even purple. Labradorization is the peculiar reflection of the light, occuring when light bends around submicroscopical planes within the mineral. Labradorite is believed to have powerful calming properties which neutralize energies and provide relief from anxiety.
