GREEN MOONSTONE
Moonstone is a sodium potassium aluminium silicate of the feldspar group that displays a pearly and opalescent schiller. Believed to be incredibly powerful for energetic, emotional, mental and spiritual purification, mental agility and self-discovery. This Chilli Moonstone is colour enhanced to achieve the vivid green - the dyeing process typically involves soaking the stone in a dye solution, which penetrates the porous structure of the feldspar. The adularescence is usually unaffected by the colour enhancement, as it’s an optical effect caused by the stone’s internal structure, not its surface color. Green Moonstone is thought to be a nurturing earth energy associated with intuition and spiritual growth.
